Fans most often use the term Sinnoh Trio (神奥トリオ) to describe the group formed by trainers Barry (Jun), Dawn (Hikari) and Lucas (Kouki), all of whom were first introduced in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum in 2006.
"Sinnoh Trio" may also be used to refer to other trios of Sinnoh characters, but the gameverse trio of Barry & Dawn & Lucas is often understood to be the Sinnoh Trio. On Pixiv, the 神奥トリオ tag refers to the gameverse Sinnoh Trio, while the シンオウトリオ tag refers to the Pokémon Adventures manga version of the trio, which pairs Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Berlitz.
The polyamorous version of their relationship, Barry/Dawn/Lucas, is also popular.
