-Shipping Name Origin

The first named coined for them was SwitchedRoleShipping, sometime before 08 December 2019.[Notes 1] The name, however, never caught on with shippers, though for a time it was considered its "official" name on the Neverending Romance ship name list. Later, "PastelGothShipping" was coined sometime before 13 December 2019.[Notes 2] SwitchedRole was later replaced with it on the list on 03 June 2021.[1]
