Courtney is a Team Magma Admin who debuted in 2002 with Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. She received a major redesign twelve years later in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire along with her fellow Magma Admin Tabitha. Her, Tabitha and Maxie are often in fanworks together since they are the three named members of Team Magma.
Her Team Aqua counterpart is Shelly.
