Dawn/Lucas, known mostly as FortuneShipping and/or コウヒカ (Kouhika), is a popular ship in the Pokémon fandom. It pairs Dawn (Hikari) and Lucas (Kouki), the female and male playable protagonist characters in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum respectively.
CommonerShipping, which pairs Diamond and Platinum Berlitz, is its cross-canon counterpart in the Pokémon Special manga.

"FortuneShipping" was coined shortly before, or on, 08 October 2004,[Notes 1] nearly two years before Diamond and Pearl were actually released in Japan. It's a play on Dawn, as "Pearl," and Lucas, as "Diamond," both being named after expensive gemstones.
