DiscDuo is one of the most popular dynamics in Dream SMP fandom due to their canon relationship. There are almost 7 thousand works in the Clay | Dream & TommyInnit (Video Blogging RPF) tag on Archive of Our Own as of August 2023.
The name DiscDuo originates from the Disc Saga in Dream SMP, where the two fought over TommyInnit's music discs. Primeboys is a common alternate name, typically in reference to RPF, as some don't like that DiscDuo is tied to Dream SMP, where their canon relationship is abuser/victim. The Primeboys name also originates from Dream SMP however, as it is derived from Church Prime.
"TADCA" (Tommy and Dream Catchall) was briefly used as a content warning label for fanwork that focused on depicting the canon abuse between c!Dream and c!Tommy, coined by lmanwife on Twitter. However, it was a controversial term and quickly fizzled out.
