George T. McWhorter was a member of the Burroughs Bibliophiles and an editor of The Burroughs Bulletin and The Gridley Wave. He died in 2020, and ERBzine has an extensive tribute page to him. McWhorter's Burroughs memorabilia collection is one of the largest Tarzan-themed collections in the world, and is available for semi-public access at the University of Louisville, including many fan activities by the Bibliophiles.
He also wrote History of the Burroughs Bibliophiles & Bulletin and hosted local ERB fan events.
