Green Oak/Red, commonly referred to as OriginalShipping, レグリ (Reguri) and/or グリレ (Gurire), is the romantic pairing between Green Oak (called "Blue Oak" in the English localization) and Red, two main characters from the Pokémon Adventures manga. It is one of the most popular ships of characters from the Kanto region in the manga, alongside Blue/Green Oak, Red/Yellow, and Blue/Red.

NamelessShipping and PalletShipping are the video game series and anime counterparts of OriginalShipping, respectively. The former pairs Red, the protagonist of Pokémon Red, Green, Blue and Yellow, with Blue, the rival in the aforementioned games. The latter pairs Ash, the protagonist of the Pokémon anime, with Gary Oak, Ash's rival and childhood friend in the original series.

Despite "OriginalShipping" usually being used to refer to the pairing between Red and Blue in the manga, "NamelessShipping" and "OriginalShipping" are often used interchangeably to refer to the pairing between their video game versions.

-Shipping Name Origin

The name "OriginalShipping" appears to have been coined sometime between 15 December 2005 and 12 October 2007. [Notes 1] It likely refers to the fact that Red and Blue are two of the very first human characters to appear in the entire Pokémon series and Pokémon Special.
