Jimmy is the protagonist of the 2024 game Mouthwashing.
Canon
Jimmy starts the story as the co-pilot of the spaceship Tulpar, working alongside his longtime friend Curly. At some point prior to the events of the game, he assaults the ship's nurse, Anya, which results in her getting pregnant. Upon learning of this pregnancy, he crashes the ship in an attempted murder-suicide. He becomes acting captain in the aftermath. He proceeds to get Daisuke killed, personally murder Swansea, and place Curly in cryostasis before killing himself, ending the game.

Jimmy-Bashing
To say that Jimmy is hated by the Mouthwashing fandom would be the understatement of the millennium. Bashings of his character are so common within the fandom to be basically ubiquitous. Ways in which fans express their dislike of Jimmy include, but are by no means limited to:
- Censoring or misspelling his name (e.g. J*mmy, Jimbo, Jimbob, Jingleballs, etc.)
- Creating fanworks in which Jimmy is killed, typically by Anya[1] or Swansea[2]
- Creating fanworks where Jimmy is non-fatally harmed in ways such as:
- Purposefully excluding Jimmy from fanworks to focus solely on the other characters
- Including Jimmy in fanart but via a PNG of his in-game model, implying that the artist didn't want to spend time drawing him themself[9][10]
- Tagging posts with "#fuck jimmy", even if Jimmy is not depicted or mentioned within the post itself
