Lance/Riley, known mostly as FluffyRiceShipping and/or SteelChampionShipping , is a rare ship in the Pokémon fandom. It pairs Lance (Wataru) and Riley (Gen), with Lance coming from Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow while Riley comes from Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.

-Shipping Name Origin
The first of the two -shipping names to be coined was "SteelChampionShipping", sometime between 18 January 2009[Notes 1] and 07 February 2010[Notes 2] for the Neverending Romance ship name list. "FluffyRiceShipping" was coined much later, on 29 January 2024 on Tumblr by kagooleo.[1] More fanworks overall have been labelled under FluffyRice than SteelChampion, as kagooleo popularized the ship for the first time post-name recoining.
