Lucas/Volkner, known mostly as StokeShipping and/or デンコウ (Denkou) is a common ship in the Pokémon fandom. It pairs Lucas (Kouki) and Volkner (Denzi), the male playable character and the Electric-type gym leader in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum respectively.

"StokeShipping" was coined by 04 September 2008 by Faerie on Serebii.net.[1] In their words: "'Stoke' as in to stoke a fire, inspired by Flint's comment when you challenge him: "You really lit a fire in that guy's heart!" (referring to Volkner). I was thinking TinderShipping, but that was already taken, so I went with this."
