"CorrosionShipping" was coined on 05 March 2017 by an anon on the official Tumblr for the Neverending Romance ship list.[1]
The name is rarely used by shippers, however, as of 2025. The pairing is largely shipped only in the Japanese side of the fandom so their most popular portmanteau is unknown at this time as well.
