Monster is a seinen manga by Naoki Urasawa. It later got a spinoff novel and an anime adaptation after its successful run as a manga. It has a small but dedicated fandom.

Until 2024, most of the fandom on English-language Tumblr seemed to be about the manga. In 2024, there was a revival in interest in the anime, probably related to the series becoming available on Netflix in 2023.[1]
