Characters?

Should the characters be added somewhere on the page? We have Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Princess Rosalina, Mario etc. -- MiaQc (talk) 10:24, 10 April 2025 (UTC)

Some fandom pages list characters, e.g. BNHA and Outer Wilds. You don't want to overwhelm the page with listing canon info though -- there's some discussion on the BNHA talk page about whether the extensive character list is too much there. In this specific case -- I'm not very familiar with Mario, but since the only canon info right now is listing the sub-franchises, I wonder if further detail should go on the relevant pages there?? OTOH I could see the argument that -- especially if the characters are substantially the same across different games, which I think is the case with these sub-franchises? -- it makes more sense to provide a general overview here.-- Quaelegit (talk) 01:50, 13 April 2025 (UTC)

Oh also -- regardless of making a list on the page, we have seven character pages and that's enough to make a character category (especially if we foresee more character pages being made in the future -- the usual rule of thumb is to make categories like this if there's at least 10 pages that will go in them).
