Carol/Valkyrie is a femslash pairing of Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) and Valkyrie of Thor: Ragnarok in the MCU fandom.
Canon
A scene clearly showing that Valkyrie is bisexual was unfortunately cut from Thor: Ragnarok.
Valkyrie and Carol both appeared in the Avengers: Endgame, but despite fighting alongside one another, these two have yet to interact.
Fandom
The ship gained a followed after the release of the Captain Marvel film. Most of the fan activity was initially fanart.
Following the release of the Avengers: Endgame trailer and a brief interaction between Thor and Carol Danvers, there was increased fannish interest in this pairing and many fics were written.[1] Many fans headcanoned that Thor would introduce the two, or try to set them up, and this was an early trope in Valcarol fanfics. Despite their lack of interaction in the film, the number of works pairing Valkyrie and Carol has continued to grow.
