Irene Kelly, played by Helen O'Connor, is a important character in The Girl From Tomorrow.

Jenny and Petey's mother. She moved to Syndney with them after her divorce with her husband. While she was a bit wary of Alana at first, she quickly becomes a mother figure for her. She owns the Kelly Deli since her children “are always hungry”. She's very protective of her children.
